Communicating With Students Email: Students may check their email in the computer labs on campus (high-speed network!) during free time. We cannot provide network connections for each dorm room, so you will not need a laptop. Phone: There is a phone in each counselor's room, which is available to students for calling home. Please bring a calling card for long distance calls. Students may also bring cell phones, but we ask that they use them at night and not during program hours. Parents may contact students by calling Dawn Densmore at (802) 656-8748, and she will pass on the message. Emergency Calls: Between 7:00am and 11:00pm, contact Dawn Densmore at (802) 656-8748. After 11:00pm, contact the UVM Police Dispatch at (802) 656-3473. (Be sure to explain that the student is participating in the UVM Engineering Institute for High School Students.) |
